The Department

The Segment Marketing team is a part of the Invesco Wealth Management Intermediary (WMI) division.  The Segment Marketing team partners with our retail distribution team to initiate and activate client engagement opportunities with the purpose of driving commercial results.

 

Your Role

The Marketing Associate will be a key member of the Invesco’s Segment Marketing team, supporting the Canadian retail business. This position provides visibility with key stakeholders and leaders and presents a great opportunity to learn about multifaceted marketing, the asset and wealth management industries, and grow within a fast-paced environment.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Develop, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns for specific initiatives that deepen audience’s engagement to drive sales. 

  • Understanding and addressing the needs of the diverse group of clients, including both end investor and financial advisor clients to ensure Invesco wealth management intermediaries have the solutions, information, and tools they need, where and when they need them.

  • Execution of segment marketing plan-driven activities (e.g., material and website updates, email, search, social, events, and advertising)

  • Proactively work with partners to generate campaigns to support various initiatives (e.g., digital transformation, asset retention, asset growth, and product launches).

  • Support the development and maintenance of content across investment and business consulting/practice management, client education, and product/portfolio solutions

  • Organizing, managing, and partnering with colleagues across the firm (Sales, Legal, Public Relations, Advertising, Creative, Editorial, Digital, Social Media, Events, Product, etc.) to execute marketing initiatives

  • Measuring and evaluating campaign and marketing content effectiveness by working with Reporting and Analytics Teams to test and learn and continually optimize marketing efforts

 

The experience you bring:

•      Bachelor’s degree required, marketing, business administration or finance major preferred

•      Strong organizational and project management skills, attention-to-detail, problem-solving capabilities, ability to follow-through, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with others

•      A general understanding of investments and/or the wealth or asset management industries is preferred.

•      2 – 4 years of Marketing experience preferred
